Plans

All prices are in USD. Payment-provider processing fees are included in every plan’s transaction fee and are not charged separately to the seller. Contact the founders to choose a paid plan. OurPay confirms your monthly price and transaction rate directly with you. There is no separate recurring-payment surcharge in the standard configuration. An agreed custom rate can replace the public rate. Your dashboard shows the rate for new payments; changing a plan does not recalculate historical orders or ledger entries.

How the transaction fee is calculated

OurPay stores percentages in basis points and fixed fees in cents. Starter uses 500 basis points plus 50 cents. Pro uses 400 plus 4, Growth uses 380 plus 36, and Scale uses 300 plus 20. The fee is calculated on the amount charged to the customer, including tax. Collected tax itself is not seller revenue. For a $30.00 tax-free payment on Starter:
Payment processing is included in that $2.00. There is no additional PayPal processing deduction. The ledger retains the fee applied to each order.

Tax on the OurPay fee

When production tax reporting is enabled, Numeral calculates and records the OurPay fee as a separate business-to-business service using the organization’s registered address and tax ID. Any indirect tax due on the fee is included inside the configured fee, not added on top. The fee ledger stores the included tax and Numeral transaction ID for reconciliation.

Payment-provider costs

OurPay pays the payment-provider processing cost. PayPal’s actual reported capture fee remains recorded as an OurPay expense for reconciliation, but does not reduce Seller Payable again. PayPal’s gross, fee, and net amounts describe cash in the central account, not the amount owed to each seller. New payments have no separate international-card processing surcharge.

Refunds

Full and partial refunds reduce seller revenue and tax proportionally. The original OurPay transaction fee is not returned to the seller. For payments with processing included, provider refund fees and returned processing fees affect OurPay’s accounting, not Seller Payable. Older payments that separately charged the seller for processing retain their original treatment: a reported processing-fee refund credits the seller and a separate refund fee is deducted. Failed or canceled refunds reverse the corresponding principal and fee adjustment. Late provider fee breakdowns are reconciled idempotently. Learn more about refunds.

Disputes

A lost dispute reduces Seller Payable by the disputed revenue and any provider-reported dispute fee recorded by OurPay. PayPal fee debits and credits come from the seller entries in the dispute’s fund_movements data. An open dispute is tracked but does not reduce the payable until its loss is final; a won dispute is reconciled through the corresponding principal and fee reversals. The current PayPal integration uses the fee data reported by the provider. Do not advertise a fixed dispute fee unless it is explicitly configured and enforced by the deployed system.

Payout fees

Payout execution is disabled by default, so the standard deployment has no live payout fee. The feature-gated PayPal Payouts rail sends to the configured PayPal recipient, not to saved Indian bank details. When enabled, OurPay records the actual payout_item_fee returned by PayPal as a seller-paid ledger adjustment after processing; it does not publish or reserve a guessed fee.

Volume pricing

The published Scale plan has the lowest public percentage fee. For a negotiated account configuration, contact support and confirm the resulting fee values in the ledger before accepting payments.
